Missa Dalecarliensis
Winner of the Swedish Church Composition Award in Falun 2014
The jury justifies its choice as follows:
“With originality, sensuality and solid craftsmanship, she has written a church mass which, with influences from the Middle Ages and up to our time, is clearly rooted in Dalarna’s folk music treasure.”
Missa Dalecarliensis was premiered in Kristine Church in Falun on September 14, 2014.
